10,000 Cattle Mutilated. Zero Arrests. The Government Blamed Coyotes.
Spring 1978. A rancher in northern New Mexico walks his pasture and finds an 11-month-old bull on its side. The rectum's been cored out. Removed with surgical precision. No blood on the ground. No boot prints. No tire tracks. 4-inch circular indentations pressed into the hard dirt lead to the carcass and then 600 feet away they just stop. Like whatever made them left the ground. They pull the liver. It's white. Not red. Has the consistency of peanut butter. The heart's the same. The blood is light pink and won't coagulate. 7 people visit the site that week. Every one of them reports nausea and headaches. This wasn't the first. By 1978, ranchers across Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, the Dakotas, and a dozen other states had been finding their livestock exactly like this. Organs removed with surgical precision. Blood completely drained. No tracks. No predators. No explanation. By some estimates, 10,000 animals. The government's response: coyotes. Meanwhile, a Stanford-educated, Emmy-winning filmmaker named Linda Moulton Howe produced "A Strange Harvest" for CBS affiliate KMGH in Denver, documenting the forensic evidence that didn't fit any natural explanation. HBO commissioned her for a follow-up documentary. Then the U.S. Air Force intervened. AFOSI Sergeant Richard Doty showed her alleged classified documents about recovered alien craft, fed her fabricated intelligence, and strung her along until HBO pulled the deal. Her career was derailed by the same disinformation playbook Doty used on Paul Bennewitz and Bill Moore. Over 50 years. Thousands of documented cases across multiple countries. 2 U.S. Senators demanded investigations. Zero arrests. Zero convictions. Zero accountability. Cases are still being reported today. Same cuts. Same missing organs. Same absent blood. Same lack of tracks.
