1952 Wisconsin, USA - Eleven UFOs tracked on radar travelling between 13,000 - 23,000 mph
Source: July 13 1952 Wisconsin UFO Report July 13 1952, Wisconsin Eleven unidentified flying objects of unknown shape, ten to fifteen square miles in size. (Reference is made to Pt. 1, Inc #1, this report) as computed on the Radar Scope, having solid centers and slightly fuzzy edges were tracked by ground electronic means in the early morning of 13, July 1952, by members of the 674th AC&w Squadron, Osceola, Wisconsin, who were then on duty There was no indication of any organised formation noted during the period of the sightings. The targets left a one (1) nautical mile comets tail which was comparable to the comets tail left by an F-86 traveling at 100 knots when tracked on the 270 nautical mile radar scope scale which was in use during the sightings. Speed of the objects varied between 12,000 and 20,000 knots. All inbound objects disappeared in the ground clutter, (Reference is made to Pt. 2., Inc #1, this report) surrounding the sighting station. All outbound objects initiated at the outer side of the ground clutter (reference is made to Pt. 2 Incl /1, this report) and disappeared on reaching the extreme range of the equipment.
