Time: event 1: Thursday,April 16th 2026, 5:30am approximate. Event 2: Saturday, April 18th, 8:00pm approximate Location: Event 1: Newberry, FL Event 2: Ocala, FL For context I drive a dump truck. My first strange encounter happened last Thursday, about 5:30am at the mine that I get loaded at almost every day in Newberry FL. When I first arrived and switched my cb radio to the mines channel I was met with interference. It almost sounded like a diesel truck idling which was what I thought it was, maybe someone’s mic fell off the dash and got lodged somewhere with the button pressed. Anyway, after I got loaded and was waiting to scale out I happen to look to my left. I see three lights in a triangle shape moving in a westerly direction slowly rotating. It’s visible for about 5 to 7 seconds before quickly fading. At this exact instant the interference I mentioned earlier disappears. The second occurrence happened just two days ago, this past Saturday at approximately 8pm in Ocala, FL. My girlfriend and I were sitting on our porch smoking when I look up and see a single bright light that I first took to be an airplane. There did not appear to be any additional lights (navigation or anti collision etc). As I watched it grew brighter and then disappeared. My next thought was that it may have been a meteor but it appeared to be traveling at aircraft speed. I’ve never seen a meteor that slow. Now, within the past few days, my stepdaughter has been telling me that our living room tv has been turning on all by itself. Her uncle has corroborated this.
