Bright orb over Karaganda International Airport, Kazakhstan, Mar 2022 — 1080p phone footage just declassified in the Pentagon's PURSUE Release 02 (DOW-UAP-PR072)
Time: March 1, 2022 Location: Vicinity of Karaganda International Airport, Kazakhstan Pulled this from the Department of War's second PURSUE tranche, released May 22, 2026. Haven't seen it shared here yet. What you're looking at: a 17-second, 1080p clip of a luminous phenomenon recorded near Karaganda International Airport, Kazakhstan in March 2022. Per AARO's published description, the video "fades in from black to show a luminous phenomenon with trails of diminishing brightness extending from the center. The camera pans left and right, and zooms in on the phenomenon" before fading back to black. The black bars at the top and bottom of the frame are part of the digital alteration noted by AARO ("This media was digitally altered prior to its upload to a classified network, and is presented as received"). This is NOT a military FLIR / aircraft sensor capture — AARO assesses it was "likely derived from a commercially available cellular device's rear-facing camera." A user uploaded it to a classified network in April 2023; it was declassified and publicly released by the Department of War on May 22, 2026. Official AARO record (DOW-UAP-PR072): "AARO assesses that this video, whose uploader-defined title is, 'ADMINISTRATIVE REVISION: IIR 1777 J0032 22 Kazakhstan - UAP in the vicinity of Karaganda International Airport,' is likely derived from a commercially available cellular device's rear-facing camera in March 2022. A user uploaded this video to a classified network in April 2023."
