I have seen this given as an explanation for the grainy and blurred footage. It seems plausible to me, but it also seems like a convenient way to obfuscate. One idea is that this means disclosure of older sightings should be more revealing, since the tech is so much older and one would assume our adversaries already have those capabilities and assume we have them. It would also mean that modern videos can be released in original fidelity in the future. What are your thoughts, here? submitted by /u/IFHelper [link] [comments]
