Can an actual engineer weigh in on Bob Lazar’s description of the technical components?
I just tried watching the new S4 “documentary” and had to turn it off when it got to the part where Bob describes the technical components, specifically the emitter and the reactor. I am not an engineer but I’m reasonably schooled in science (data science, biology, college-level physics) and his description and the mockups seemed like something a sixth grader would imagine up. That the gravity well was like playing with magnets. That the emitter looked was a rotating cylinder that just needed to be rotated to turn it on. That they had a “kitchen candle” in the lab to demonstrate “gravity” coming out of the emitter. The components were so laughably made-up sounding (and looking) I wanted to see if there are any engineers out there with a different impression. My engineering friends would laugh at me if they knew I was watching this stuff which is why I pose my question here. I think this was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me for Bob’s story, after having given him the benefit of the doubt for years. submitted by /u/flaneur-terrestre [link] [comments]
