Sighting Location: West of Harrogate, North Yorkshire (Fields just north of Birk Crag) Direction of View: South-East (looking from the road near the army college) Time of Day: Morning, approx. 08:25 AM Account of the Event: I wanted to share a strange sighting I had during my morning drive yesterday morning (May 24th) around 08:25 AM, along Penny Pot Lane heading towards Harrogate. While looking out of my car window toward the south-east (above the fields by Birk Crag), I spotted a massive, matte-black triangular object hovering right above the tree line. The shape was incredibly simple and completely devoid of any light, texture, or ridges. It looked like a solid, deep black silhouette against the sky. I had my car windows completely down and the object was entirely motionless and perfectly silent. It was far too large to be a commercial drone, and because it was completely static and made zero noise, it definitely wasn't a standard jet or helicopter. I watched it for a few seconds, blinked, and it was suddenly completely gone—disappeared into thin air.
