She is the author of the New York Times bestseller UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record (Crown, 2010) and Surviving Death: A Journalist Investigates Evidence for an Afterlife (Crown, 2017), which was the basis for a 2021 documentary series on Netflix.
