I'm from Perthshire. I grew up half an hour away from where the Calvine UFO was sighted. I used to work in Pitlochry for the tourist board. I know the area very well. I keep seeing people make the argument that the Calvine UFO is a rock in a loch, and the reflection of that rock and a jet above. https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/wn6nzv/the\_exact\_location\_where\_the\_calvine\_ufo\_photo/ This post was shared in this sub 3 years ago showing the exact location of the photograph. The nearest loch is miles away down in the valley. Dr. David Clarke, an investigative journalist has verified that the photograph is real, that it was taken at this location, and that the RAF report that no training flights or anything took place on that day. And yet the two unknown photographers clearly photographed a jet flying through the valley (which is common btw). What is uncommon is that there absolutely is what appears to be a large diamond shaped object that appears to be hanging in the sky. I'm not saying it's definitively an alien ship, or a reverse engineered something something. We might never know what it is. But we know for certain it's not a rock. Can people please learn to use Google. It's all just a search away to verify this. submitted by /u/ColPugno [link] [comments]
