...From a spiritual perspective... In Buddhism, there is a tradition that so-called gods or higher beings, who may be jinn, also need enlightenment; the Buddha taught some of them as well around 2500 years ago, despite their advanced scientific abilities. Therefore, is it possible that higher beings we call aliens may know something we dont know about metaphysics (the science of religion), so they are here... waiting? It goes to the theory of the coming of the three or four M's from the three main Western religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, which are waiting for a Messiah--Jesus in Christianity and Islam, the Messiah of the Jews( who never accepted Jesus as Messiah and another Islamic holy man called the Mahdi, supposed to come along with the second advent of Jesus. Lastly, Buddhists are awaiting the arrival of the Maitreya. So the four M's, as predicted in these religions, will come at the end of time. Messiah-Jesus Christianity and Islam are waiitng for Messiah of the Jews...of course, if Jesus is that Messiah, then his second coming covers that The Mahdi--- Coming in Islam at the end of time. The Maitreya---the Holy figure the Buddhists are waiting for. So, are the 3-4 M's the very reason alien species are here?
