We now have mainstream news outlets (ABC, CBS, NPR, FOX, etc) doing serious reporting on UFOs. That’s a huge change from the laughing/mocking tone the media usually takes. The “Overton Window”, or what’s considered normal by the culture and media, is shifting. This allows people who maybe believe in UFOs but felt embarrassed to say so to start engaging with the topic openly. It also could open up room for people to listen to stories from UFO experiencers.
