I was outside at night looking at the sky, watching the many satellites cruise around. My head was craned back and I caught the object(s) behind me. It was a cluster of small, pinprick lights in a loose V formation. Individually, they would have been indistinguishable from stars or satellites. They were not low lights, like those cast from a helicopter, or birds, nor were they like a plane. To reiterate, they looked exactly like stars. What made them visible to me was the fact they traveled in a V formation which moved at incredible speed. From the initial position behind me, they/it crossed the entire basin of the sky in approximately four seconds then vanished from sight into the distance. Finally, each light was not firmly fixed in position. They 'wobbled' a bit within their V formation as they sped across the sky. submitted by /u/HanoiBogan [link] [comments]
