He entered the meadow and began to cut across it diagonally to go around the thicket that occupies part of it. He was about fifteen meters from the trees when suddenly he saw a strange assembly of spheres appear above them. The whole thing took the shape of a horizontal capital T, the bar facing forward, and flew slowly just above the treetops, giving the impression of wanting to land. The bar of the T was made up of at least three rows of nine spheres and followed by at least three rows of eight to ten spheres. Each sphere had a diameter of 30 to 40 cm and was separated from its neighbour by a space of 5 to 10 cm. All of these balls were a light dull grey, like wood ash. And they all ROLLED HEAVILY into each other like marbles rolling down a slope. The apparition was absolutely silent The startled witness turned back toward the road to see if, by chance, there might be a providential cyclist able to confirm his astonishing vision.
