Here are three things that are definitely going to happen during or right after the release of the 40 videos. I believe this because it has happened before. #1 One or more of the videos will be debunked in thorough and compelling ways. They won't be legitimate UAP. This will be because they were included by bad actors for the purpose of discrediting the whole batch. One (or a small handful of) bad apple(s) to ruin the bunch. It is important to remember that the legitimacy of one video is completely independent of the legitimacy of any other video. #2 Some piece of media, or document, or “eye witness” will come forward with a more extreme, salacious, or tantalizing claim. It will be so dramatic that it is irresistible to the UFO community. It will be totally (or almost totally) uncorroborated, and they will amplify the crazy. It will seem completely ridiculous and unbelievable to normies. The purpose of this will be to discredit the topic. If you keep this in mind, I think you'll know it when you see it. #3 There will be a substantial campaign on social media (Reddit, X, and elsewhere) to amplify, and support the mission of, 1 & 2. They will engage in bad faith debunks, they will sow division, they will amplify the fake, they will repeat discredited arguments, and they will lie. To many people, this will be obvious. For many, it is likely to have the desired effect. When I see 1 or 2, I will come back to this thread and comment.
