I just want to ask you all what you think of ghosts in relation to UFOs/aliens. I personally think it's a topic that needs to be breached soon. I think this is related to why higher ups at the pentagon refer to the phenomenon as "demonic"

lol, as usual, this topic was immediately deleted in /r/UFOs Yeah, this post is going to be a lot. I know is a hard topic to breach. I do ask you try to show good faith in this topic. I believe in ghosts due to personal experiences, and I know some of you have as well, but for those who aren't I'll frame this post as a series of questions and answers I guess. I'm sort of just rambling, trying to start discussion. "How is this related to UFOs?" through the pentagons fear of "demonic". I do not think they are pushing any Christian-Judeo views, I think there is a very real phenomenon of scary shit (but importantly not harmful i dont think, at least not majorly) and it's part of why this topic is so hard to talk about, cuz ghosts are very taboo subject even in the UFO community. I think it might not be long until this topic begins to be taken more seriously, and hopefully someone smarter than me can formulate a better ice breaker to the topic. "Where's the evidence" The evidence is just like UFOs - nothing can be scientifically repeated in a lab, only videos/personal accounts that can be difficult to explain. I would argue there's as much evidence for UFOs as there is for aliens. Those of you who believe there is suitable evidence for UFOs/aliens/recovery programs, should be able to find suitable evidence for "ghosts". I am not hear to shill anything, but for those of you who do want a good channel to look up what i'm talking about, check out nook's top 5, which im intentionally spelling wrong and not going to link here, because again, i dont want to look like im promoting anything. "what about the different types of ghosts": - scary ones - ones ranging from modern to 1800s/1700s - older ones.. "where are the caveman ghosts?" all valid questions, again, this is my personal view (which is always in flux) scary ones: unsure what they really are, do not think they are human or related to "human spirit", possibly feed on our fear. i personally think they might be some type of outside entity that really can feed on our thoughts and emotions. i think they are related to (or maybe directly are) "thought-forms" - entity's that form based on what the person/culture believes. Explains why certain cultures tend to see horrors related to that culture - the more people in an area that expect to see something, the "stronger" it is there. idk, i know, this is a lot and i don't even have myself convinced of this stuff, it's just stuff i think about. 1800s ones to modern day: I guess I feel like ghosts fade* after a max of approx 400ish years, so the ghosts that are legit related to a persons "spirit", would be most seen in that range. "What do you mean fade" - after a lengthy time, everyone/every spirit figures out how to "move on". so all the people's spirits still exist somewhere, but have moved on. "moved on? moved where" - i guess move around similar to how people claim to astral project, which is something i haven't done. they sort of just "teleport around" instead of being stuck in a house or "stuck to a family member" or however that shit truly works, just not "stuck". submitted by /u/checkmatemypipi [link] [comments]
