Time: Around November 2025 give or take, around 10 or 11 PM, possibly later. Location: Bolingbrook, IL, near Weber Road This happened about 5 or 6 months ago, give or take. I didn’t think much of it at the time since I didn’t get a video or picture. But a friend told me I should mention it here and see what other people think. I was outside on my patio in the back of my house smoking a cigarette when I noticed something moving through the sky right next to my house. It looked pretty low. I'd guess around 30 feet up in the air, maybe even a bit lower since it was below the trees nearby my house. From what I could tell, it was roughly 10 feet long and about 5 feet wide. The weird part was that it was basically invisible. Like I was looking through plexiglass. At first I had no idea what I was looking at. I thought maybe it was a cloud or a plastic bag. Anything but a UFO. I went through every logical explanation I could think of until I started to notice its shape. It definitely looked like a drone. I could make out that it had square edges as it moved. It wasn’t moving fast either. Probably about the speed of someone running. I wanna say that it was maybe 40 feet away from me. Probably closer. It was not far at all. I think if I ran after it I could probably catch up to it in a couple seconds. Once I realized it was moving in a perfectly straight line and completely silent, I just watched it move. It was going perpendicular to the way that I was facing. I was completely in disbelief at what I'm looking at. I couldn't chase after it. My patio is gated so I'd have to jump over the gate to chase it. And it was going away towards the front of my house, deeper into the cul-de-sac. Definitely one of the weirdest things I saw in recent memory.
