I am pretty good at open hand combat, mainly Karate, and I honestly think the only real chance we would have against aliens is close combat. When you think about it, they are usually shown as tall and skinny, with thin arms and legs. They do not look very strong or well built for fighting hand to hand. If they rely more on technology than strength, then getting in close could take away their advantage. In a close fight, training, balance, and timing would matter more than size or fancy weapons, and that is where humans could actually stand a chance. submitted by /u/skipadbloom [link] [comments]
