To me it looks like: 1) The orbs are keeping things out. 2) The tictacs are human tech. Negative buoyancy 3) This is not base reality. We suffer for someone/thing else to learn from, but there is a lot of balancing to keep the overlay moving. Much in the same way I train AI in VR environments, I don't want external inputs messing it up. The whole aliens from outer space is just the current rationalisation of current society. Because we are more materialist these days, we expect outwards. I understand the allure of a mystery, but it doesn't seem very mysterious to me? submitted by /u/After-Cell [link] [comments]
