The quotes below are from the movie Age of Disclosure, so its not new info. But i had not noticed it before and have not seen anyone talking about it either. What Stratton said Age of Disclosure (timestamp 31:20): Caption: 2020 Jay Stratton: "The deputy director of Naval Intelligence, who understood the national security concerns of UAP, directed me to start quietly building out a whole government interagency effort that ultimately became the UAP task force. This new programme was much bigger than AATIP ever was. Our mission was to detect, analyse, and catalogue UAPs that pose a threat to U.S. national security. I had hand-picked members from all 16 agencies of the intelligence community. The Secretary of Defence formally announced the UAP task force in August of 2020, naming me the first director" Jay Stratton: "Everyone in authority was paying attention to this topic. One very distinctive moment for me was briefing then Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin. I got through my briefing and at the end of the brief he sat back in his chair and he [Mnuchin] said, "You know, Jay, you may wonder why I asked for this briefing." He said, "What are the economic impacts of the President going to the microphone and telling the world we're not alone?" I have to think about those kinds of impacts in order to prepare if the President were to make that move" Some people here assumed that if Trump was going to do disclosure, he would sort of blurt it out on day 1, or week 1, or year 1. And that because it hasnt happened, it will never happen. But (i think) that any White House administration has timeline of plans and goals they want to achieve in 4 years. For example recently they put Venezuela under US influence, then neutralised the imminent nuke threat from Iran (midnight hammer), then the larger attack, and next year maybe the war with China since president Xi there has been purging many leadership people that are against a Taiwan invasion. The point is that there is a timeline of big events and it has to be realistic and doable. This timeline has to be planned and prepared by all kinds of people involved, not just Trump. And so on this timeline of big events, some gap must be reserved for disclosure. From Strattons quote above, we see that at least during the first administration, that gap seemed to be either the very end of his term, or part of his next term that he thought he might win (or had already lost to Biden on nov 3, 2020). Also keep in mind that the UAPTF was only set up in august 2020. submitted by /u/phr99 [link] [comments]
