I do mobile photography as a hobby and sometimes take video footage and then capture still images from it, especially when there is a lot of movement like waves on the lake. When I went to edit some of this still shots and increased detail settings, these strange things appeared in some of the still captures of the video. You can test it out for yourself by capturing screen shots from the footage and adding the Pop filter in Snapseed app which increases detail. I've been doing mobile photography like this for years and using that app and that detail enhancing tool for years and never came across anything even remotely like this. Let me know your thoughts.
