So given his disappearance and relationship to this topic, for my latest video I thought I'd look into Maj Gen N McCasland. I'll summarize it here, but also post the links to the video and podcast I've done on it, if anyone wants the full length analysis (podcast is more thorough but I still cover a lot in the video). So initially I thought it interesting that he worked as an engineer for air force office of special projects 6 and 8, then done his PhD after this, under supervision of a key person in the NASA apollo program, whilst also under paid employment by the Air Force. Got me thinking he must have seen some good tech even as an officer engineer in 6 and 8. Then immediately after his PhD he was involved in air force office of special projects 13, which btw i can not find anything out about, yet 6 and 8 i can. When i look for 13 it seems to flood me with redirects to the Secretary of the Air Force for Special Investigations 13, which is something completely different. and anything to do with air force office of special projects is associated with space technology. So what is this project 13, if anyone has any other info on this, I'd love to know. So then given all of this i decided to check out his thesis, as this seemed an interesting reliable source point. His thesis was essentially about sensor and actuator optimization. (go into a bit more depth on the podcast here), but in summary this looks like it could be applicable to spacecraft. In terms of UFO's, this kind of optimization is mathematically sound (but not totally understand or achievable with current physics) for potential craft optimization for travel in the profiles we see in UFOs. What i will say, is given the gap in the physics understanding, this seems to align more with a reverse engineering understanding (if we apply this to craft movement, optimal manipulation of spacetime, plasma or something else similar). I took this approach as given he was under employment for the air force and also supervision of someone in a senior role of NASA's Apollo program, it might unintentionally reveal some sort of information related to UFOs, and I believe it does. The thesis seems stemmed, like it doesn't explore the full implications of it, yet enough to achieve his PhD. I look into some other interesting points about his history as well, but thought this was worth sharing. Please be gentle with the comments, totally open to criticism but prefer to keep it civil and constructive, hopefully something i can take onboard and carry forward with me. I go into way more detail in the vids if anyone is interested, but ultimately thought it was worth pointing this out, as it reinforces the strangeness in his disappearance, and think he was actually more key to the whole reverse engineering project than at first glance.
