Time: Early 90s 9:00pm. Location: Delaware County Pennsylvania. I decided I should share this experience that I think I only told 2 people. It happened over 30 years ago so I don’t have any more information. I would have been about 20 years old. That would make it the early to mid 90s. I’m not the type who remembers dates but it was an autumn night around 9:00, the temperature was very comfortable. It was the suburbs but it wasn’t a suburb with streetlights and sidewalks. The road was a main road with a double yellow line and narrow shoulders. Almost every house had a hedge and the yards had tall, full grown trees. I was across the street at a neighbors house. I had exited the house by the back door and was walking toward the road, he was doing something inside so he had not caught up to me yet. Across the street, the houses were set back from the road around 50 feet and the front yards had adult trees that were higher than the 2 story homes. I looked up and I caught site of something that was floating from left to right, over the front lawns across the street. It was traveling close to and parallel to the road. The clouds were very high and gray. This object was very dark gray, darker than the clouds and was just a little higher than the trees. It seemed about 10 feet wide and was shaped like an isosceles triangle and traveled with the point forward. It floated slowly, just a few miles an hour and it rippled and undulated. It looked a lot like a sting ray swimming in the ocean. It wasn’t solid like an aircraft and there was no sound and no lights. I must have been trying to make sense of it because my first thought was that maybe it was a sheet that blew off the clothesline but I quickly realized that there was no wind and that it was maintaining the same altitude while moving so slowly. It traveled about 50-60 feet like that before it disappeared. The sighting was close to 10 seconds long. I looked very hard for another minute but it was just gone. It’s the only unexplained thing I’ve ever seen in the sky. For years I could not find any sightings like mine but one day, maybe 5-10 years ago, I came across a similar one.
