New findings in the 2015 "Gimbal" UFO/UAP video definitively falsify the leading prosaic theory (a "rotating glare" from a distant, misidentified jet). At the close range observed on radar by the Navy aircrew and confirmed through multiple independent methods of analysis, the "Gimbal" UAP demonstrated highly anomalous flight characteristics despite lacking wings, control surfaces, or discernible means of propulsion. 1. The Raytheon AN/ASQ-228 ATFLIR camera pans downward as it tracks a nearby object. This falsifies claims that the "Gimbal" video shows a misidentified jet some 30 miles away. At the end of the footage, the camera pans up slightly, aligning precisely with the anomalous flight path described by the aircrew and retrieved in 3D geometric reconstructions of the "Gimbal" incident. (See: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2306.08773) 2. Stabilizing the footage to remove the effects of the F/A-18F's leftward banking and pitch falsifies the "rotating glare" theory. Moreover, with one possible exception (i.e., the avoidance of the gimbal singularity/gimbal lock), targeting pods do not track objects with the discrete, disjointed "steps" required by the "rotating glare" theory. submitted by /u/TommyShelbyPFB [link] [comments]
