Just thinking about the folklore and traditions here in the Middle East and want to know your perspectives. Djinn might be what people today call NHI. They are different kinds of beings. Some are good, some are bad, but like us have cultures and tribes. They have also worked with humans as builders and divers to bring treasures in antiqueties and in transporting things from long distances in a very short time. Al-Masudi described reptilian forms among the djinn nearly a thousand years ago, long before modern Western conspiracy writers or any modern sitings and clearly before the last news of the 4 types. So maybe they are just djinn... If so, it could explain a lot. It explains why they do not really avoid us, but simply exist in another way alongside us. Traditional beliefs describe them as beings made of fire, able to see us while we cannot see them. They live in\on the ocean and also occupy the skies. This even explains their supposed interest in nuclear sites. Since they coexist within the same world in a different state of existence, then nuclear destruction could affect their towns and spaces as well. My only question is why their flying objects are visible to us. I wonder if those are specifically made for the purpose of transcending and travelling through the two worlds? By the way, there are still hints in the language (Arabic which is one of the oldest langauges in the world) that djinn abducts people by lifting them up. Some hateful expressions: "May they (djinn) shoot you up away" or "may they take you" or "may they carry you". Why is it always about abducting and flying swiftly? is my point.
