Kimberly Engels is conducting a research study exploring how individuals make sense of direct contact experiences with perceived non-traditionally human intelligences over long periods of time. The goal is to understand how these encounters may shape values, worldview, and sense-making processes across decades, and to learn from the insights of experiencers themselves. She is seeking English-speaking adults who had a direct contact experience before the year 2000, experienced at least in part during waking consciousness. Participation involves an eligibility screening, completing an online survey (approximately 250 questions about your experience, values, and worldview) and a recorded Zoom interview discussing how your understanding has evolved over time. Participants will receive $50 for completing the survey and $50 for the interview. Not everyone will be selected for an interview. All information will be kept strictly confidential. Many experiencers find value in having their perspectives heard and taken seriously, and your contribution may help deepen public understanding of the contact phenomenon in meaningful ways.
