Waimate, South Island, New Zealand. Sightings reported from a property near the coast (approx. 1km from the sea), with activity described between Mt Studholme hill range and the coastline/ocean. Orbs appeared over three consecutive nights Recorded 22nd June 2025 ⸻ Witness Account Summary: A witness living near the coast reported seeing multiple bright “orb-like” lights in the sky over three nights in a row. The lights were described as appearing and disappearing, moving toward town and into the hills, and at times seeming close enough to cast light onto the hills/ground. They reportedly moved rapidly to new positions, then stayed stationary for long periods before heading back toward the ocean. The witness also stated that one light would sometimes lag behind while others moved left or right, and they were observed “dancing around” in the sky. A second witness (the first witness’s boss) independently reported seeing four lights travel from the Mt Studholme area toward the sea, stop around 100m off the shore, move around briefly, and then go into the water.
