I think tomorrow will see a release of partially redacted documents and multiple videos. Nothing will significantly advance the ball in terms of definitive proof. But, I think that is because this is a test balloon. They would never go from zero official acknowledgment to 100% acknowledgment in one step. So they will do this and gauge the overall reaction. Then they’ll go a little further at some point in the future, a gauge reaction. The problem is, those who want to prevent full disclosure will have that many more opportunities to relegate the topic back to the stuff of fringe topics. I understand why this would be the strategy. Civilization needs some measure of predictability and stability. Depending on the true nature of this topic, full and immediate disclosure could be lead to a large risk of a lack of predictability and massive instability. I just hope the drip drip drip escalates quickly and in large leaps. I don’t want to spend the next several years waiting for slightly less grainy videos.
