One of the most intriguing things to me about Bob Lazar’s account of S4 and the sport model is how prior to him arriving, someone removed one of the amplifiers from the craft with a plasma cutter. This made the craft unable to travel into space and to other star systems (delta mode) but kept its ability to fly within Earth’s atmosphere (omicron mode). The way he described it was peculiar to me. It’s almost as if this was an automatic protocol, executed by someone(s) with a specific mission who knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Prior to Bob arriving at S4, some scientists attempted to take a saw to a part of the craft that they disassembled, not knowing what it was. It detonated violently. He said that tinkering with this craft is like agitating a bomb every single second because you don’t know what anything is or what can trigger an energy event. Maybe some people have already looked into this, but this leads me to believe that NHI are involved in these retrieval programs to monitor the level of technology humans get access to. Humans clearly aren’t ready for interstellar travel, but they will let us tinker with the craft and experiment with omicron mode, but absolutely not delta. It makes sense to me - it’s sort of like giving your dog a toy but removing the squeaker first because they’ll eat it otherwise. If humans get access to interstellar travel, Avatar becomes a documentary. There’s so much mystery in these retrieval programs and why they allow humans to interact with any of it in the first place is one of those big ones. It’s almost like NHI are managing human growth and evolution in a careful and delicate way, because while humanity has potential, we’re still a ticking time bomb.
