The lights blinked but it never turned off completely. There's a cellphone tower in the vicinity and I started wondering if that's what it was (height was about the same) but it wasn't. Cellphone tower top light is red. I decide to go towards it. After a minute or so of looking at it, it stops hovering and starts cruising west, not fast, not slow. I keep questioning myself if this is a dr**ne (word is banned temporarily from this sub). It's high near me to my left, still cruising west. I walk by two men who are leaning on the back of their pickup truck outside a house and talking. I say hi and ask them if they've seen it. Immediately they look up and tell me they believe it's a plane but keep looking and realize it's not. They give me the typical shrug, tell me it's probably a dr**e and smile, I thank them and keep going. I walk faster and turn the corner to try to intercept it and manage to do it. It flies right above me and I get a good look. Three lights in a triangle. One red light in the middle. Medium size. No obvious shape, only lights. I try very hard to make out what the shape is and I just can't see the silhouette at all. No sound, absolute silence. I try to take a picture and I get a blurry mess. The lights blink. The triangular white lights are on mostly but in a milisecond they turn off, a red light in the center turns on. This is almost instant and the white light are back on. This happens every 2 or 3 seconds. The UFO picks up a bit of speed, can't keep up with it. When it is almost out of sight it starts curving north. It is now miles away, just a white dot in the sky. Following it with my eyes I spot another one, this one is two or three blocks away, hovering over a quite tall palm tree. The first one disappears from sight. I'm onto the second one now. I keep walking fast towards it. It hovers over the palm tree for over a minute and then starts going west as well, just like the other one. Do they know I'm watching them and start moving then? No one else seems to be looking up or noticing them at all. This one moves west a little bit faster. A house with a big tree blocks my sight from it for a moment, after I go past it, I can't see it anymore. It's gone. Anyways. Could be dr**nes? Sure. But they emitted no sound and the first one went miles away. The DJI Air 3, which is buyable by anyone has an 8 to 12 mile reach. It costs $2200 dollars in my country so it'd be weird to think someone has two of them around just because. Anyways, those emit sound and have 4 to 5 lights. That's about it.
