If you think about it, if aliens ever come out visibly to the public with the gov announcing they exist.. and then we have heavy religious people shouting “DEMON!! STAY AWAY!!” which sounds so primitive. that’s gonna make such a horrible first impression for us as humans. It’s like us being intelligent enough to find a planet with life.. to simply introduce ourselves and share knowledge.. and they think we’re demons from hell. It just makes us look dumb.
