The Information the US Govt. Won't Release: The Technologies That Can Create UFO Close Encounters and Alien Abductions
In 1975 through a formal investigation conducted by the U.S. Senate, known colloquially as the Church Committee, it was revealed that the CIA had been engaged in illegal activities of experimentation on U.S. citizens since the early 1950s. The most famous project in this vein which was unearthed was called MKULTRA. The goal of this project was to determine if it was possible to control a human being via the mind. Two potential methods of doing this which were explored were through the administration (often covertly) of mind-altering drugs, and techniques of hypnosis. Much has been written about these projects, but one crucial element which is rarely discussed and was not a focal point of the Church Committee investigation, is the experimentation which was carried out in an attempt to control and influence the human brain through electronic means. Neuroscientist Jose Delgado, who worked with various U.S. intelligence agencies throughout his career, pioneered research on using electronic devices to do just that. His most well known research involved implanting radio-equipped electrodes in animals and even humans. He called these implants “stimocievers”. In a now famous test of such a device he was able to stop an aggravated bull from charging at him with the push of a button. UFO abduction researcher Martin Cannon has noted the striking similarities between these sorts of mind control experiments and the medical procedures and especially implants which have been reported by UFO abductees. Beginning in the 50s and 60s individuals began reporting that they had been taken, sometimes against their will, by humanoid beings who rode around in flying saucers and other unorthodox craft. These stories frequently included spine-chilling details such as painful medical examinations, implantation with foreign objects, and even coerced sexual encounters. Antonio Vilas Boas reported that on the night of October 15, 1957 he was abducted from his family farm in Brazil by a group of human-looking individuals who he said came out of an oval shaped craft with flashing lights. The abductors were described as wearing black jumpsuits and helmets with what appeared to be breathing apparatus. Boas was taken onboard the craft against his will where his captors drew blood from his chin and locked him in an empty room. He was then involved in a sexual encounter with a humanoid woman, after which he was escorted off of the craft and left in peace. Was Boas really abducted by Alien beings from not of this world, or was there something else at play? Ufologist Rich Reynolds and certain other researchers came to the conclusion that there was more than meets the eye regarding these events. A man named Bosco Nedelcovic, who had close ties to the U.S. Department of Defense, claimed that he had been involved with a covert CIA mission called Operation Mirage in which mind-control experiments were performed on unwitting individuals in various South American nations. One of these he claimed he was a part of was the “abduction” of Antonio Vilas Boas. According to him Boas had actually been drugged and taken aboard a helicopter. The wound on his chin which he believed was caused via a blood sample was allegedly caused by him slipping and hitting his chin on the edge of the aircraft. He was later released and left near his tractor where he eventually awoke. ...the CIA was then engaged in similar experimentation on unwitting persons, and it would have been a relatively simple task to administer drugs in aerosol form from a helicopter or other aircraft to target individuals in remote locales in order to conduct various psychological tests. The Betty and Barney Hill case is perhaps one of the most well known in all of ufology. It was the first widely reported “UFO abduction”. On September 19, 1961 the Hills reported that while driving from Montreal to their home in Portsmouth, New Hampshire they observed a bright light which seemed to be moving in their direction, so they stopped and exited their car to take a closer look. Shortly thereafter they experienced a “missing time” event. They realized that hours had passed and they were now driving again but were unable to remember what had happened from the point at which they tried to get a better look at the light until then. They later recounted under hypnosis that the bright light actually had turned out to be a strange object which descended until it was just above them. They described it as ovoid in shape with what looked like wings at each end. There were what appeared to be windows along its circumference and they observed individuals inside the craft. They were then taken aboard by humanoid beings with abnormally large eyes. Barney reported that there was also with them a completely human looking man wearing a military uniform who he described as a “red-headed Irishman”. Once on board the craft they were each subjected to medical examinations and Betty was shown a map which represented the point of origin of the “extraterrestrial visitors”. Researcher Jack Brewer has discussed some of the potential connections between alleged UFO abductions and the political climate of the midcentury Cold War era. It turns out that the CIA, like the FBI, were involved with harassment of individuals believed to be communists or have communist sympathies. There are documented cases in which such activities went quite a bit further that simply intercepting mail and bugging phones. There are certain elements that suggest that the strange case reported by Betty and Barney Hill could have been in this realm. Not only were the Hills an interracial couple who were heavily involved in the Civil Rights Movement, but Betty later claimed that she was a communist and had been for quite some time. Another interesting tidbit is that almost all of their close friends during this period were USAF officers and their wives, as they lived in close proximity to Pease Air Force Base. One of the individuals who they became well acquainted with just happened to be the head of intelligence at the base. The story of Betty and Barney Hill was recounted in detail in the book The Interrupted Journey, by John G. Fuller. Fuller, as it turned out, had some ties to the CIA, and he also authored a book on another incident which was potentially the result of covert experimentation; The Day of St. Anthony’s Fire. In 1951, many residents of the French town of Pont St. Esprit were reported as experiencing symptoms of psychological disturbance, with multiple deaths seemingly connected to the incident. ...documents which came out in the 1970s point to the incident being caused by some sort of CIA funded covert operation, and in fact, John G. Fuller was allegedly told that this was the case by contacts in the CIA. It is certainly interesting that Fuller, who was so captivated by this incident, would then seek out the Hills and meticulously document their case... https://open.substack.com/pub/theprometheanflame/p/ufos-demystified-part-two?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android&r=57dssq When the CIA’s MKULTRA and other adjacent projects were revealed to the public in the 1970s something crucial was kept in the dark. While horrible stories involving drugging, hypnosis, and even implantation of foreign bodies perpetrated on individuals for the purpose of controlling a human being against their will were widely circulated, there was a crucial piece of the puzzle which was only hinted at. That piece was psycho-electronic (sometimes called psychotronic) weapons: stimulation of the human nervous system via electromagnetic means. https://open.substack.com/pub/theprometheanflame/p/ufos-demystified-paint-it-black?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android&r=57dssq During a study undertaken at UCLA’s Reed Neurological Research Center in 1978 on electromagnetic stimulation of the temporal lobe of the brain, individuals reported such effects as hot and cold sensations, disorientation regarding time and place, temporary amnesia, and seeing colored balls and flashes of light. A different study, this time on the effects of low-level magnetic fields, also produced incredibly relevant effects. Subjects reported sensations of floating and weightlessness, and a sense of presence; one individual was quoted as saying “I feel something in here with me”. There were also visual effects reported such as seeing mechanical objects rotating, and birds flying around the room. Some of these effects are similar to the symptoms of physiological states such as of sleep paralysis, and all of them are remarkably similar to what has been described in paranormal encounters especially those of the UFO variety. Professor of psychology Michael Persinger studied the effects of electromagnetism on biological organisms for decades; with a particular interest in effects on the human nervous system. He discovered that electromagnetic energy could induce altered states of consciousness, and produce mystical/religious experiences in individuals under the correct circumstances; some even in the category of auditory, and visual hallucinations. He is probably most well-known for a device called the God Helmet, which targeted specific areas of the brain with fairly weak EM fields. Many of the people who wore the device during testing reported precisely these kinds of effects. Persinger even conducted tests during which religious imagery was displayed in the room, and in other instances images of outer space were used. The results were extraordinary; in each case a number of percipients described experiences which directly correlated with the imagery on display during that particular session. ...when many of the sordid details concerning MKULTRA were revealed to the public during the 1970s, the specifics on psycho-electronics could not even be accessed because they resided in the world of highly classified projects... After the Hill’s experience it was discovered that their car had been tampered with. Two spots were found where it appeared as if something had been affixed to the vehicle and subsequently removed. The Hill’s reported that they could think of no explanation for these marks. They also experienced a sudden-onset blank-out state after hearing strange noises while driving. When they regained consciousness, they had no memory of traveling the distance they had. Perhaps one of the most revealing cases ever reported suggesting the use of such devices on an unwitting individual is the case of a woman named Alison from the US state of Arizona... Alison reported that she had been “abducted” multiple times during adulthood by UFO occupants. One of her experiences however, differs from the others in a crucial way. Prior to her abductions, she recounted that the electricity in her home often would go out, then she would hear a low humming noise coming from outside. In this particular encounter though, this humming sound abruptly ceased shortly after it began. …when the sound stopped she began to regain mental clarity and observed a shocking sight. Standing in front of her in the middle of her home were multiple men wearing black combat fatigues. One of the men raised his hand as if signaling her to stay where she was, while she reported that another one asked “what happened?”. The men backed away and hurriedly exited through the front door. Alison made her way to the window where she saw them climb aboard an unmarked black helicopter that was equipped with a large spotlight. The aircraft promptly ascended and flew away. Covert aircraft, artificial luminous phenomena, and potentially other novel technologies are all likely involved in the labyrinth of deception that is the UFO mythos; but it is psycho-electronics which points the way to perhaps the most important aspects involved. https://open.substack.com/pub/theprometheanflame/p/ufos-demystified-the-paranormal-syndrome?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android&r=57dssq submitted by /u/knowstradamus7 [link] [comments]
