The U.S. Army Played the Voices of the Dead Into the Jungle at Night
In 1969, the U.S. Army's 6th PSYOP Battalion built a tape called Ghost Tape Number 10. It featured the voice of a dead Vietnamese soldier begging his comrades to stop fighting. They played it on loudspeakers from helicopters over enemy positions in the middle of the night. The commander said it was so effective they couldn't play it near friendly troops. 150 men fled a mountain after one broadcast. Full deep dive on the channel now. #GhostTape10 #OperationWanderingSoul #PSYOP #VietnamWar #PsychologicalWarfare #MilitaryHistory #MindWar #Shorts 👉 Connect with us: Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/@AmericasStrangestHistory Website: http://www.americasstrangesthistory.com/ Email us: ash@americasstrangesthistory.com © America’s Strangest History
