Two PURSUE UAP releases: useful public records, no proof upgrade yet
Disclosure: I work on VRAI's UAP source-control / evidence-literacy project. This is a public-records/source-control post, not event validation, object identity, origin, performance, authenticity, suppression, completeness, or agency endorsement. Short version: after two PURSUE tranches, I think the story is real public-record access plus real source-control problems, not a proof upgrade. Release 01 is most useful as a baseline: official PDFs/images, DVIDS pages, inventories, hashes, OCR/crosswalks, report-video pairings, and claim ceilings. Release 02 is mostly a live-record hygiene story: The active War.gov UAP CSV is cumulative at 222 rows, not 222 new Release 02 files. The May 22 subset is 64 rows: 51 video, 7 audio, and 6 PDF. All 51 video rows carry chain-of-custody / informational-use caveats. PR057a/PR057b share public DVIDS ID 1007720; the public DVIDS/AARO text frames this as duplicate media with different uploader-defined titles. DOE-UAP-D001/Pantex appears publicly as pages 5-6 of a six-page sequence; pages 1-4 were not recovered in our public/local official-route pass. Wayback captures preserve May 20, May 22, and May 23 CSV states, including a PR062 wording change between May 22 and May 23. My practical takeaway: the next tranche should include a signed manifest, versioned CSVs, row-level hashes, correction notes, document-sequence notes, custody/source-file labels, and native/source-file status.
