I hope it’s ok to post and ask this. I saw this ufo in 1976. I always remembered it was the summer of 76 when it happened. Several years ago I did a search for “Turlock ufo 1976” and this article came up. The description of what the two cops nearby my home matches what I saw. Can someone post the full article? I used to have a copy of it but now it’s behind a paywall. I was sitting at my sliding glass door before dawn to get some air. I saw a bright white light start to appear over the top of the garage and then a bright white object not far above the house appeared. It was so bright I had to shield my eyes and look down. As It passed over and I ran out into my backyard to watch it as it departed over the neighbors houses until it disappeared. The light was only coming from the bottom of it. It made ZERO noise. I couldn’t make out any shape of any craft. The police called it in and other law enforcement agencies also looked for it but didn’t see anything.
