We mapped 146,740 UAP sightings against 199 nuclear sites. 1/3 of all reports occur within 80km of a facility. Here is the analysis.

After analyzing 146,740 geotagged UAP reports through 2023, our team found that sightings are statistically clustered around nuclear power plants and national labs. Even after adjusting for population/observer bias using a control group, you are 2.16x more likely to report a UAP near a nuclear site than the baseline. The Methodology We wanted to move past anecdotes and look at the "signal." We cross-referenced 199 global nuclear facilities (177 power plants, 22 labs) against 146k validated sightings. We also tried to cover other global regions but there are data limitations for them. Proximity Radius: 80 km (approx. 50 miles). The Control Group: To account for "more people = more sightings," we used a matched sample of 4,047 non-UAP anomalous reports. This ensures we aren't just measuring population density. The Hard Numbers Total Sighted Near Nuclear: 48,897 reports. Observed Rate: 33.32% of all UAPs fall within the nuclear zone. Baseline Rate (Control): 15.44% (Using Bigfoot sightings). Statistical Significance: p<0.0001 (The odds of this happening by chance are less than 1 in 1,000,000). Odds Ratio: 2.74x. Top "Hotspots" (Highest Uplift) San Onofre, CA: 38.6x uplift. Brookhaven Natl. Lab, NY: 36.8x uplift. Lawrence Berkeley, CA: 23.6x uplift. Palo Verde, AZ: 20.8x uplift. Indian Point, NY: 2.7x uplift (highest raw count: 3,279).
