What if they already left?
What if they already left?
I’ve been reading about UFO cases and the general lore for a long time, and I feel like there’s a theoretical angle that doesn’t get discussed much. What if the “ET presence” on Earth wasn’t ongoing .. but temporary? My thought is that they could have been here in the past on some kind of exploratory or scientific mission… and then they left. Older sightings seem clearer If you look into earlier UFO cases, especially mid-20th century ones, there are quite a few reports and even photographs that appear relatively clear and structured (classic disc shapes, etc.). But in more recent decades, most evidence tends to be lower quality, more ambiguous, or explainable. It feels like something changed. Behavior suggests avoidance, not contact Many pilot encounters describe UFOs as evasive .. they avoid engagement, outmaneuver aircraft, and leave quickly. If we assume they don’t want to be discovered or interfere directly, it would make sense for them to minimize exposure. Staying here long-term would go against that goal. So combining those ideas: Maybe they came, observed/studied, avoided interaction as much as possible… and then simply left once their objective was complete. This could also explain why sightings today feel less “direct” or convincing compared to earlier reports. What if the peak of whatever this was happened earlier, and what we’re seeing now is just residual, misidentified, or something different entirely? I don't know .. wanted to share an angle that wasn't discussed very often. submitted by /u/I2cScion [link] [comments]
