Where did the alleged theory of Aliens harvesting human souls and feeding off of our negative emotions originate from? John Lear? Other?
I’m curious about the origination of this claim. Was it David Icke? I know he’s the one that first brought the reptilian narrative into the general public, but did he also talk about the negative emotions aspect? Or was it originally from Bob Lazar, or did he just regurgitate the story? But it looks like u/slipknot_official might have the answer? Can anyone verify if this is correct, or any of it incorrect? > I personally think some of this concept came from Robert Monroes 1985 book "Far Journeys". There's a small section in the book where Bob had an out of body experience and an "INSPEC" (a non-physical being) showed him a metaphorical vision that earth was a garden, or a farm. The being then told Bob that earth is like a system where all of life produces a form of non-physical emotional "energy" called "loosh". This loosh was then "harvested" by a group of "higher beings". Loosh was the prime life-source for all of creation. Basically the higher beings create life (humans, plants and animals) that gives off loosh, which then the beings use to evolve in order to then to create more life. It's like synergistic thing, or symbiotic* (not parasitic) There's a few pages about this experience in the book, I'm basically paraphrasing it. >But in short, loosh was a metaphor for love-energy. Bob called it loosh/love. >Then later on a couple decades later, people took this OBE that Bob had, changed the definition of loosh to mean "negative energy", claimed the higher being were actually "lower" beings in disguise as higher beings, and these beings created humanity simply to suck their fear and negative emotional energy out of them. >Then David Icke came around and called these beings Reptilians, for whatever reason. Then claimed that earth is a prison planet - a computer simulation where these beings trap people in a simulation to harvest negative energy. >Other people tied the loosh metaphor in with Gnosticism, a branch of Christianity, and then claim basically the same thing David Icke does, but they call these beings Archons - or demons. Some neo-gnostics then believe archons are reptilians. >Now this is a very short summery. There's other authors and spiritual/religious beliefs that have also played a part. But I believe the loosh metaphor and David Icke are sort of the roots of the reptilian/prison planet narrative. >I personally think this stuff is simply a religion, like any other religion. It even get's into some cult-like territory There's not much evidence for it all besides a few metaphors and the words of some men. >Bob Monroe did some great work though. His work is extremely positive, and has nothing to do with reptilians or negativity. If anyone does know who this information originally came from, do we also know what year it was claimed?
